                                    Shipping

                                    Q.  When I went to checkout, I wasn't charged for shipping.  Is shipping free at LandSlide?
                                    A.  Shipping is not automatically calculated at checkout but you do have to pay to have your items shipped
                                         off to you.  You must go to the
                                    Purchase Shipping page and add it to your shopping cart when you are
                                         ordering. If you don't add it, you will be sent a shipping invoice from LandSlide via PayPal.
                                    Q.  Can I meet you somewhere to pick up something I've ordered?
                                     A.  While I appreciate your business, I don't have time to meet people places.  If you'd like to come to my
                                         home to pick up your order, I am happy to arrange that.  Contact me before placing your order.
                                    Q.  How long will it take till my package arrives?
                                    A.  If your order is not a custom order, it will usually go out the next business day.  Jewelry, bags, clips and
                                         chimes are sent via USPS Priority and usually take 2-3 days (within the US) once they have the 
                                         package.  Mannequins are sent via USPS First Class (unless otherwise arranged) and will take a few
                                         days longer.
                                    Q.  Do you ship internationally?
                                    A.  Many countries have strict prohibitions and do not allow jewelry shipments from the US.  Other countries
                                         will allow jewelry shipments, but have restrictions for them, such as needing to be mailed with special
                                         services.  And many countries have no limitations at all.  Email me for rates and to see whether I can ship
                                         to your specific country.  Usually APO  type addresses have the same rates as the US.
                                    Q.  I live in Ada County.  Can I just come to your house and look through the merchandise?
                                    A.  Sorry, I don’t sell from out of my home.  But, I will allow for local pickup if you email me before
                                         placing your order.  Email me at 
                                    wendy@landslidejewelry.com and we'll set up a time.  That way you
                                         won't have to pay for shipping.

                                    Payments

                                    Q.  Do I have to have a PayPal account?
                                    A.  Nope. You can pay using a debit or credit card. It’s still processed through PayPal.
                                    Q.  How do I know if my PayPal payment went through?
                                    A.  Check your email. PayPal will send you a receipt (check your junk folder too).
                                    Q.  I am having trouble with PayPal. Can I pay using another method?
                                    A.  Yes. You can mail me a cashier’s check or money order. I’ll send out your stuff as soon as I receive your
                                        payment.
                                    Q.  How long  is a coupon or promo code good for?
                                    A.  Generally they are good throughout the month that they are sent out.  But if it's listed on the website,
                                         it's good until it's taken off.  Or if you have a business card, those generally have a promo code that's
                                         good indefinitely.

                                    Gift Certificates

                                    Q.  I need a gift NOW and I don’t have time to wait for shipping, etc!  Can you
                                          help  me?
                                    A.  If you are in a pinch, why not purchase a LandSlide Gift Certificate?  I can email it right to
                                         the recipient or email it to you and you can print it off and  present it to her yourself!
                                    Q.  Can I use  a coupon or promo code toward a gift certificate?
                                    A.  As with most retailers, you can't use a coupon or promo code toward the purchase  of gift certificates.
                                         Sorry about that.

                                    Jewelry

                                    Q.  I really like  a piece but the length won’t work for me.  Can you shorten/ lengthen it to
                                         fit me?
                                    A.  It depends entirely on the piece.  Email me with the specifics and I’ll see what I can do.  There will be
                                         a fee applied for altering any piece, usually  $5-$10.
                                    Q. I'd like a darker patina on the silver.  Is this possible?
                                    A.  You bet.  It's another $5 per item.
                                    Q.  Can I order a ring in a different size?
                                    A.  Yep.  It'll be a custom order and will cost an additional $7 per ring.
                                    Q.  Do you use sterling silver in all your  jewelry?
                                    A.  I use sterling silver in almost all of my jewelry.  If it is something else, it will be listed as such in the
                                        item description.  If it isn’t specified, it’s safe to assume that it’s sterling.

                                    What now?

                                    Q.  My LandSlide thing broke!  What should I do?
                                    A.  I give a 30 day free fix on everything I make--you just pay for the shipping to get it to me;  I'll pay
                                         to get it back to you.  After 30 days,  you will need to pay for the materials needed to fix it and shipping
                                         both ways

                                    Q.  Do you accept returns?
                                    A.  I don’t accept returns.  However, I will accept exchanges if the product is in perfect, unused, new
                                        condition.  If there is a price difference, LandSlide credit will be given and I will send you a merchandise
                                        credit code to apply to your next purchase.  If you want to exchange for a more expensive piece, I’ll send
                                        you an invoice via PayPal for the balance due. (Shipping charges will be your responsibility each time.)
                                    Q.  I saw something I wanted, but now it's gone!  What does that mean?  Do you have another
                                         one I can buy?
                                    A.  As a general rule I don’t make duplicate items.  Part of this is because of the lack of availability of
                                        certain materials, but it’s mostly because I like the idea of uniqueness. I like it that there aren’t a bunch
                                        of people walking around with the same exact piece of jewelry--that you’ve got the only one. However, if
                                        you want to place a custom order for specific duplicate items (bridesmaid gifts, stamped pieces, etc),
                                       
                                    email me and we’ll figure it out.

                                    Custom Orders

                                    Q.  I have my own silver & would like a custom chime made.  How much will that cost me?
                                    A.  Custom chimes with all the silver provided will be $5 PER PIECE of silverware, and $10 for the
                                         main piece (that from which all the silverware hangs).  If you have only the silverware, and no piece to
                                        hang them from, total price will depend upon what I have available.
                                    Q.  I'd like to place a custom order.  What should I do?
                                    A.  First, contact me so we can figure out exactly what you want.  If it's something I can make, I'll send you
                                        a customized invoice through PayPal.  I always collect full payment for custom orders before I create your
                                        piece.

                                    Other Stuff

                                    Q.  Do you do jewelry parties/open houses/home shows?
                                    A.  This is a little complicated and my answer might make you hate me and want to scratch my eyes out. I'll
                                        go to areas in and around Boise, ID. And I’ll only do open houses if the weather is perfect because I’m 
                                       crazyinsaneloco about driving in snow/ice/rain/zombies/etc. In short, if you live right next door to me, I’ll
                                       totally do an open house whenever you want. If not, you might have to wait till late spring, summer, or
                                       fall to have me come to your house. But it will be worth it. Hostesses get 10% of whatever dollar amount I
                                       sell to use as LandSlide credit. And I won’t bug your guests about having an open house in their home. 
                                       There will need to be at least 12 confirmed guests to your open house. If there aren’t 12, we’ll need to
